A Black Creature in the Forest

An imaginary autobiography by Orian Lifshitz

Past show

A yeshiva student breaks into the world of theater and stirs up, for the director, a confrontation with her past life.

She sets out on a journey that connects a funeral announcer to howling foxes, the killing of a fly to an interview in La Isha magazine, and meets who she was before she changed her name.

The show deals with themes of sexual assault.

Running time: approx. 60 min

A singular work in the local theater landscape. Precise direction, breathtaking performances.
